I'm on vacation

I refuse to call it a "stay-cation" or, as John Oliver put it, "holi-stay." But what I will say is that I have nothing planned (other than the improv class I'm taking with my friend, Erica, on Mondays) and I'm happy to keep it that way. Oh and there may be more pictures like the ones below, that I took on Saturday.

It was a perfect day; not too cool, not too warm, and absolutely sunshiny beautiful.

The car went home a little heavier than it left. Panda brought the sand and Leo found the tire iron we'd lost a month before. I kid you not! We used it for leverage to screw the girls' leash stake into the ground, and we lost it when we were packing up in the dark. There it sat, a few feet from where we had been, just waiting for our return. I love Oregon.

Kites.

Lots of running and being generally cute.

I tried to take a nice shot of the girls in front of the ocean.
First Thea won't look at the camera...

Then Panda won't look at the camera...

Then some women stop to take pictures, right behind the girls. You win some, you lose some, I guess.

Great photos! Love the one of Leo throwing to the girls, and the series at the end. So cute.

Enjoy your vacation!

Ha! OMG, Those last few pics in succession cracked me up! I can so relate.

An improv class, huh? Fun!

great photos - like Nonnahs - I was giggling fiercely at the last 3.

Well, they're adorable whether they're looking AT the camera or not! Enjoy your vacation!

I lovelovelove the pictures of Panda and Thea, they are so sweet. And the beach trips always look so fun with them. I don't get out to the coast nearly enough!

hee. i love pictures of the girls!!! it looks like a great time!

I'm so jealous. Looks like paradise.

Oh, funny girls!!
:D

Looks like you are having a wonderful time - keep it up!

What a great day! I love all the pics. The one where Leo is throwing the frisbee and the girls are just launching themselves to catch it the best. There's so much energy in the photo I half expected to see them start moving :-).

You know, with kids of all types, I like the pictures that tell a story way better than the "here's so and so in front of something". My favorite one of our 3 boys is my hubby's least. I love it because I can totally read the thoughts on each one's mind. The oldest is in the middle with his hands on either brothers' shoulder, looking like he's saying "I'm trying to hold them down, really, I'm trying." The middle one had the cutest grin and he's leaning forward, as if to say "I'm here too!" Middle child syndrome and all. The youngest just is standing there "Yep. It's me. It's ALL about me now."

I love it when you post ALL the pics of your babies, especially the ones that tell a story.

HATE the term "staycation". So much.

An improv class???

Now you really have to tell me what degree you're taking.

I'd say bring along the two puppies to class, but I'm afraid they'd steal the show. They are sooo fricking adorable!

these doggie pics are darling - very nice sequence
