Pardon Our Dust

For those of you still able to find your way to my blog, I'm so glad you have. A few things have been and continue to be a little wonky around here.
For starters, my feeds aren't working quite right. They are there, you can load them, but they don't tell you when anything new gets posted. I can't figure out why, the feeds are one of the few things I didn't monkey around with. Let's hope it's just a matter of time.

As for comments, they've been working sporadically. That's completely my fault. They should be A-OK now, so, by all means, comment away ;o).
Otherwise, I think things are working fairly well. Let me know if they aren't and I'll try to sort them out.

Despite all the problems, I'm still really happy I made the move from Blogger to Movable Type. I haven't had a lick of problem posting and the features are very slick.

I have lots to post about, so even though my feeds aren't ok, you should still stop by when you think of it.

I imported my Bloglines feeds (yours among them) into NewsGator today and am comparison aggregator reading/shopping. Just want you to know that as of right now, no Bloglines update and NewsGator has your post.

i was going to say the same thing as vicki. i use newsgator and you've been showing up all week (once i added in the new feed). newsgator is so much better! not just with your blog but in general. i just got sick of bloglines' excuses. it's sad though because so many of our readers come from bloglines.

I love MT, been using it for years. I reccomend that you have to approve comments, it keeps the spammers more at bay! I rarely get any.

oh bloglines showed me this new post for you, bloglines doesn't like update every single minute, I think it checks for updates every half hour or something. There site probably says so someplace.

I use NetNewsWire for my feeds and your new feed has been working in a prompt fashion for me. good luck working out the kinks.

Man, I feel like I'm behind the times. I actually go to the websites of people whose blog I want to read. ~_^

I have to say I love your spinning content! You've inspired me to try drop-spindling again. I'm not very good at it... but I will persevere. (Or maybe I'll get my coworker to let me use her wheel.)

Just to let you know that I use Bloglines (with a Firefox plug-in) and your site is showing up fine. Even the Panda-heavy one (so cute, and I laughed so much!)

maria, don't feel bad, i do the same thing...

It may not be your feed acting up... I've been noticing some problems with Bloglines recently, where it doesn't show what's new, etc.

Marnie, I'm really curious to hear your thoughts on using MT now that you've had it for a few weeks. Did you set it up yourself? Did it integrate easily with the rest of your website? with your hosting service? Any recommendations for others thinking about using it?
