It's hot, let's hit the beach.

It's been in the 90s which was toasty when we were acclimated to life in LA, but is downright miserable now that we've become accustomed to Portland weather. The beach seemed a perfect way to cool off a bit.

The water was just filled with these little krill. They are hard to photograph but they were everywhere.

Do I really need to say that it was a great day? We played for hours and went home exhausted but happy.

Your dogs are so sweet. It makes me wish I was there to play too!

It looks like great fun--Chappy wants to come along next time!

I totally agree. I am originally a Virginia girl, but I've become used to the Portland weather, also, so start complaining when it gets hot.
I'm planning a beach trip next weekend to help out.

Oh it looks so heavenly....I'm escaping the California Central Valley heat tomorrow for an excursion to Morro Bay....I can almost feel the cold ocean on my feet...can't wait!

what great photos! i love the one of thea with her alternate universe self :) how did i miss that one in flickr?!

These are awesome pics! I lovelovelove the one with Thea and the black dog! And I can NOT get over how big she is! Panda is also a schmoo, as always. :)

Sounds like a slendid way to spend the day! The pic of Thea and her alternate universe self made me laugh out loud!

Great photos - looks like you really had great fun! 90's WOW - I don't think we've had a single 90 day here in the Chicago area this year (maybe just one & just barely into the 90's) which is really unusual - but we're loving it. Had my grandsons for the weekend & took them to the zoo Saturday - it was in the high 70's & threatened rain much of the day but no more than a few drops here & there. Intermittent sun & clouds - a great day to be tromping around & looking at animals. Friday we took baby sister downtown to meet their aunt (for her first ever overnight stay without mommy or daddy or big brothers - we were all nervous but she had a great time). The lake front was quite crowded but we all had a great time at the Bean. Summer - there's nothing like it!

Wow! Look at those perfect "play bows"! Your dogs are so friendly to other dogs, it makes me smile. :O)

Looks like a lot of fun!

That looks like very much fun, but what'd you work on?

Great pics! Having teenagers I REALLY love my dog!
