Have you all missed me? Well, you probably haven't quite noticed I was gone, but I have been. Last Friday, in the wee hours of the morning, we packed up the car, the dogs and plenty of provisions, and headed out for a road trip.
ROAD TRIP!
I decided it would be a bad idea to announce, for all the world to see, that our house would be vacated for 5 whole days. I would have loved to have blogged along the way, but wiser heads prevailed.
When I have the energy, I'll upload our photos and regale you with some stories. But, for now, I'm too tired to put it all together into something coherent. Until then, I'm sending warm new year's wishes to all of you. Here's hoping yours was even half as spectacular as ours.

I see you went someplace green. Then again, maybe it's green where you live. I look forward to your photos. I especially love seeing 'the girls'.
Happy new year to you and yours! :-)

I did notice you were gone, but I just figured you were caught up in festive holiday times! I can't wait to hear about your trip and see the photos. I don't blame you for not blogging from the road, probably a good practice!

I feel the same way about blogging that I'm going on vacation - often, I'll write a few posts and set them to release while I'm away... Call me paranoid. :)
Btw, I saw the great Stitch Diva ad in VK - I want to bring it to my knitbuds and say, "Hey! I know this gal!"

Is that Crissy Field? I try so very hard not to think about how the weather back home (Bay Area) is clear and gorgeous during the dismal Oregon winter, but your picture is not helping me! ;-)

The blog world as a whole has been quiet this last ten days of so. Spectacular photo - wise idea not to mention on the internet that your house will be empty for a week!

Love the photo and can't wait to hear about your road trip, though I can't imagine it compares to ours. (Apparently, Leo failed to deck you and eat you!)
xox,
J
P.S. Less talky, more writey!
