As you all knew would be the case, Thea is absolutely fine and shaking off the anesthesia as I type. We will be able to pick her up in a couple of hours and bring her home to convalesce.

My high energy Parson Russell Terrier Robin had her ovariohysterectomy surgery the end of June. She slept for two days after the surgery and than except to eat, and go out to relieve herself she stayed in her bed for a week. She would quietly play with her toys, and snooze. She was alert and interested in everything around her however she was just content to rest. It was almost as if she heard the Vet say - and no strenuous exercise for 10 days after surgery.
I hope Thea's recovery is as calm.
