Named for a little seaside town in Oregon, Astoria features a top-down seamless raglan design, body darts, mid-length sleeves, and the focal point, a striking stranded colorwork band.

This piece is designed with no ease to hug the body, but you can always knit a size larger or omit the body shaping if you prefer a relaxed fit. You can also knit the body or sleeves longer. However, keep in mind that these modifications will require extra yarn.

US #7* (4.5mm) – 22” or 24” circular needle.
US #7* (4.5mm) – dpns (I prefer sets of 5.)
Optional: US#8* (5mm) dpns and circular needles for colorwork.
US #5 (3.75mm) – 12” circular needle for neck band.
4 stitch markers in main color [mc].
2 stitch markers in alternate color [ac].
Stitch holders or waste yarn.
