Arcturus is worked from the top down, center out, increasing every 8th row through the charts. Each segment of the chart is worked 8 times per row. Some charts show RS and WS rows and some charts show WS rows only. On charts that show WS rows only, work RS rows in established pattern, knitting the knit stitches and purling the purl stitches and yarn overs as they appear

Supplies

  • 2 skeins Dragonfly Fibers Damsel (335 yd / 306 m per 4 oz / 113 g skein; 100% Superwash Merino) in Airport Hot Sauce
  • Size 5 US / 3.75 mm circular needle, 60" / 150 cm long or longer 
  • Stitch markers, 2 cable needles, cotton thread for lifeline (optional), tapestry needle, blocking supplies

Gauge

  • 24 sts and 30 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch, before blocking
    Correct gauge is not critical for this project, but your final measurements and yardage requirements may vary if your gauge is different.
