This is the free roving they gave me at Greenwich Yarn

And here is the yarn I said I wouldn't buy, but did.

My mom displays the building she wishes were her home

It's nice, no?

Our original plan was to walk to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Actually, walking to the bridge was Leo's idea, I had doubts we'd make it.

We let Panda go for a romp in the water en route.

She has no fear of under tow, waves, or other threats to life and limb.

Luckily, she's a tough little cookie.

Here we are at Crissy Field. We are nowhere near the GG bridge yet.

She's cute, huh?

I guess we really like taking her picture.

She starts getting mad when we don't throw anything for her to fetch.

Here's a funky succulent something or other. Ok, I know nothing about botany, but I think it's cool anyway.

And this was some sort of creeping vine type thing that had neato-squeato red vines.

Here is the entrance to the Palace of Fine Arts. It's pretty impressive.

I really can't speak to the history of this or what it's all abut but it's great to walk through

Pillars play a big role in the design

And guess what?

Dogs are welcome to roam the premise.

Not much to say about it all except, "cool" so I'll just keep quite while you peruse the pics

Keep walking and you hit a great little pond

With swans and ducks and such

Panda thinks they are fascinating

IMG_0069 IMG_0070 IMG_0071 IMG_0072 IMG_0073

She would like to herd them

But we don't let her

I really like this shot because of all the birds.

Friday June 3, 2005--A.K.A. Leo's Birthday

Leo is not an early riser, so I awoke long before he did to join my parents for brunch. If you know me, even a little, you know what I ordered; Eggs Benedict.

After that, Ben (my stepfather) watched Tennis while my mom and I hit a nearby yarn shop.

After walking and shopping off breakfast, I headed back to the hotel and Leo and I went for a birthday walk with Miss Panda. We started at Crissy Field, the day they lifted the ban on off leash dogs, then to the Palace of Fine Arts.

Believe it or not, there's more.
