Saturday and last full day in SF
I spent the morning shopping for yarn and eating Eggs Bennie with
my mother before heading back to the hotel to sleep some more.
We woke up and joined my mother and some friends of hers for dinner
at the Empress Of China.
As is often the case, a couple hours after eating Chinese food,
we were hungry again. Leo had been craving some Dungeoness crab so
we headed to Fisherman's Wharf and ate at the Crab House for the
second time in three days.
We then bought $50 worth of chocolate. I did so against my will,
I swear.

We had hoped to meet up with my Cousin that night who
was at a concert in town somewhere, but, alas, his concert ran late
enough that he needed to catch the last train out to Emeryville to
get home.
Since we were already in Fisherman's Wharf, we picked up another
cigar for Leo and then went to the little blues bar across from the
cigar shop.
It's a bit of a tourist trap, but the band was decent and people
were dancing and having fun. When I got word that we wouldn't be
seeing my cousin, we headed on out to see if we could find a club
called Roccapulco, a Salsa club that a couple cabbies had mentioned
to us.

The pictures don't really do the place justice, but Roccapulco was
really great. It's a huge, two level club with a large ballroom floor
and a live band. The balcony afforded us a great view of the happenings
and I even convinced Leo to do a little dancing with me.
After nearly closing the club down, we headed out for a walk and Leo
enjoyed his cigar. When we started to feel peckish again, we hailed
a cab and asked about the clubs in the area. The cabby offered to tell
us about all the after hours clubs and we got the Cliff Notes style
tour before he took us back to our hotel.
